Vincent K. Ragsdale RN, OD

Dr. Ragsdale received a BS degree in Nursing from Loma Linda University in 1986. His Doctor of Optometry degree was completed in 1992 from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Ragsdale has been in private practice since 1993.
 

• Born in Loma Linda, Ca. in 1962. Grew up in Riverside California.
• Education: Graduated from Riverside Poly H.S. in 1981, Loma Linda Univ. with B.S. in Nursing in 1986 and Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO) with Doctor of Optometry in 1992.
• Practice: Opened the Optometric Center of Mission Grove in 1993, Opened Hip Optics Optometry in 2004. Have been in private practice for 17 years.
• Associations: American Optometry Association, California Optometric Association, member of Inland Empire Optometric Association.
• Family: Married in 1983, three girls ages 23, 21 and 17.
• Activities: Golf, Motorcycle riding, Family camping.

• Completed Pre-doctorate clinical Rotations at: West LA Veterans Hospital, Fullerton Eye Care Center, Optometric Center of Los Angeles, and Camp Pendleton Navy Hospital.
• Practice: Joined Optometric Center of Moreno Valley in 2004
• Associations: Canyon Springs High School Health Career Mentor Project KIND, AYSO sponsor. King High School ROTC sponsor.
• Family: Married to wife Shelly for 12 years. Three children, ages 12, 8, and 4.
